SHIPPING INFORMATION

All goods listed on the site are in stock and ready to ship unless otherwise stated. We will ship any item within 24 hours of receiving the order. Any orders received before 2.00pm will be processed and dispatched the same day. If the order is placed after 2.00pm, it will be dispatched the following day, except Friday, where the goods will dispatch the following Monday. Postage and packaging costs start at £1.99 and are limited to £5.99 for orders within the UK. Customers who would like to qualify for FREE SHIPPING must make a purchase of £59.00 or more (after any discounts) and their goods will be delivered using our courier service.

UK DELIVERY

1st CLASS: All UK orders are sent using 1st class or courier service, depending on your choice at the checkout.
Goods shipped 1st class are delivered within 1 - 5 working days (usually next working day)
International orders will be sent via airmail and insured up to the value of the purchase.

RECORDED COURIER SERVICE: This is an overnight courier service that will be delivered by 5.30pm the next working day. However, this is not a guaranteed service as unforseen circumstances could arrise, ie: road congestion, adverse weather conditions etc that could effect the delivery. It is a trackable service and requires a signature on delivery. The courier will attempt to deliver your package up to two times, leaving a ticket after the 1st delivery. If after the 2nd attempt, they have not been able to deliver the package to you, your goods will be returned to Have Your Cake And Eat It. There will be a *"return to sender" charge of £5.00 if this occurs. We will then arrange another delivery with yourself at the cost of £5.99

*Please note, the “Return to sender” charge is a charge made by the courier service to us that we pass onto you the customers in the event of a package being returned due to a failure to deliver the package that is of no fault of our own.

UK OFF-SHORE DELIVERY (Highlands and UK Islands): ***IMPORTANT*** Due to the high cost of courier deliveries to the Highlands and UK Islands, we can not extend this shipping offer to UK off-shore & Highland customers. To receive an accurate shipping quote when going through check out, you need to register your address as "UK (Off Shore) or UK (HIghlands)." This is very important because if you choose "UK (Mainland)" you will receive an incorrect shipping price and we will have to amend or cancel your order. These orders are shipped using Standard Parcel Force Delivery as its delivery aim is 3 working days and it has a competative cost to weight ratio.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

To keep costs practical, all international orders are shipped using Royal Mail Standard Airmail. Your order will be packaged/boxed and insured up to the order value to ensure a safe delivery.

INTERNATIONAL AIRMAIL: Delivery times using this method vary depending on location, but as a guide, European destinations are 7 - 14 days whilst the USA and rest of the world is 7 - 28 days.

RETURNS POLICY

If your items are delivered by the courier service and the package appears to be damaged, please check the items whilst the delivery man is there. If anything is damaged, please do not sign for the parcel and instruct it to be returned to Have Your Cake & Eat It. We will then replace the order.

Claims for damaged items must be made within 7 days of receipt and we may ask for a photograph or return of the items in way of proof.

International items sent via Air Mail will go through the standard track and trace procedure and we will await Royal Mails report before we proceed any further.

We hope you will be satisfied with your purchase but if you do wish to exchange any items or return them for a refund then we ask you to contact us within 28 days of receipt of the goods. Provided the goods are returned to us in an unused, new condition, with the original packaging, we will fully refund the price of the item. Unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges on any edible items, books or DVDs. Postage costs can not be refunded for exchange items. We must be informed prior to the return of any items.
